FEAR OF JOB LOSS IN RELATION TO ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND HUMAN INTERACTION WILL HELP ACHIEVE THE OVERALL GOAL OF AI AND HUMAN INTERACTION



 
The rapid progress, in intelligence and automation has sparked anxiety about potential job displacement. Although these fears are valid, they can also spur us to work towards a goal; finding ways for AI and humans to interact effectively. Than seeing AI as a threat to employment it's crucial to acknowledge how these concerns can actually push us towards advancements in innovation, collaboration and skill enhancement. This in turn can lead to a cooperative relationship, between AI and human beings.

These guidelines explain how being afraid of losing jobs because of AI can actually make people come up with new ideas, work together better, and learn new skills. This will create a future where AI and humans can work together well.

       I.            Fear of Job Loss as a Catalyst for Innovation

Being afraid of losing a job can make people come up with new ideas and solutions in different industries. When people and groups think that AI might take away their jobs, they feel motivated to look for new chances and come up with new ideas to solve problems. This means that AI technologies are created to make humans more capable, not to take their place. In healthcare, AI tools and robots are used to make medical procedures better and more accurate. This changes the healthcare industry and creates new jobs for healthcare workers. Moreover, when people are afraid of losing their jobs, they are more likely to invest in new ideas and technology that can create new AI programs and systems. This helps us constantly improve and adjust AI, making sure it helps humans rather than causing job loss.

    II.            Fear of Job Loss Promoting Collaboration

Fear of job loss due to AI can also foster increased collaboration between humans and machines. As workers become more aware of the potential for job displacement, they are likely to seek ways to complement AI technologies with their own skills and expertise. This necessitates collaboration in various industries, where humans and AI systems work together to achieve optimal results.

For instance, in the field of autonomous vehicles, engineers and AI developers collaborate to enhance safety, develop ethical decision-making algorithms, and address real-world challenges (Sethi & Sharma, 2020). The fear of job loss serves as a driver for such collaboration, leading to the creation of AI systems that are safer and more reliable, while maintaining human oversight and control.

 III.            Fear of Job Loss Encouraging Skill Development

The worry about losing a job can push people to work on improving their skills and continue learning throughout their lives. In a world where AI is becoming more common, people need to learn new things to stay competitive in finding jobs. This fear can cause a big change in how people learn and work, with a focus on learning skills that go well with AI technologies.

For example, in the finance industry, people are worried they'll lose their jobs because of AI-powered robot-advisors. This worry has made companies want financial experts to learn how to analyse data, plan finances, and communicate well. (Davenport & Ronanki, 2018) This helps people become more flexible and stronger when dealing with technological changes.
